How to Apply to VMI

Applying to VMI is a bit different from a traditional college. Here’s a quick rundown of some things you should know now:

We accept the VMI application and the Common App
Applicants must pass a medical evaluation as part of the admission process
A personal interview (in-person or virtual) is highly recommended, but not required
Letters of recommendation are required, so it is important for students to identify those contacts early
Qualified applicants receive a conditional appointment to VMI rather than a traditional admission offer
